We look for recurring operational problems and study how the work is done now. An investigation stays close to the practical constraint: what is slow, uncertain, repetitive, or difficult to verify.
Make evidence earn the next step
Small tests before large commitments.
We frame the uncertainty, identify what would change the decision, and run the least expensive reversible test that can produce useful evidence. Work advances only when the evidence supports another step.

Define the decision before the activity. State what evidence would support continuing, changing direction, or stopping.

Keep claims proportional to what was actually observed. Record uncertainty and carry useful learning forward.
